the medical applications of silicone products

As we all know the silicone products play an important role in our daily,now even silicone products often be used for medical treatment,there are four types:

1.Solid

with the hard and soft, color is white, opaque, hard as bone, soft by moderate hardness, elasticity and easy processing of plastic.

2.Foam (foam type)

Pore was spongy, soft, white or yellowish color, greater flexibility and extensibility.

3.Film type

Transparent or translucent film, milky white or light yellow, greater flexibility.

4.Liquid type

A viscous liquid, or yellowish white latex latex-like shape.

       Pharmaceutical and health industry applications can be roughly summarized as follows: long-term retention in the human body organ or tissue substitutes, short-term retention in the human body for medical devices,such as orthopedic medical devices, drug delivery systems, in vitro supplies and so on.

       With the development of the chemical industry, the growing polymer material instead of metal material in the past (such as gold, silver, platinum and other steel, etc.) and biological materials (such as bone, cartilage, etc.) in clinical practice it has been widely used in human ,and medical silicone products is a polymer material.
